CalCPA San Diego Chapter Elects New President
Marleen Thudium, CPA, CLU, PFS, of La Mesa has been elected president of the San Diego chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2008 – 09. Thudium succeeds Narelle E. MacKenzie. CPA, of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
The CalCPA San Diego Chapter serves more than 2,600 members in San Diego and Imperial counties. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.
Owner of Willow Brook Financial Insurance Services, Thudium previously was the chapter’s first vice president. Her firm assists closely held businesses with health insurance and retirement planning.
Thudium holds a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of DePaul, Chicago.
Joining Thudium on the board of the CalCPA San Diego Chapter are Joseph A. Forlenza (first vice president) of Merrill Lynch, San Diego; Melody S. Thornton (secretary) of J.H. Cohn LLP, San Diego; and Conor P. Donnelley (treasurer) of Max Perlatti & Associates, San Diego.
