Paso Robles CPA Elected President Of CalCPA Central Coast Chapter

J. Russell Roy, CPA, of Roy & O’Connor, Paso Robles, has been elected president of the Central Coast Chapter of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants (CalCPA) for 2008 – 09. Roy succeeds S. Dana Senes, CPA, of GBP & B Tax and Business Advisors, San Luis Obispo.

The CalCPA Central Coast Chapter serves 400 members in San Luis Obispo County and northern Santa Barbara County. They specialize in a broad range of services — from business consulting and personal financial planning to tax and estate planning.

Previously the chapter’s vice president, Roy is a Roy & O’Connor shareholder. The firm provides such services as tax planning and preparation, accounting, audits, and business consulting.

Roy holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Hawaii and a master’s in business administration from UCLA.

Joining Roy on the board of the CalCPA Central Coast Chapter are Kevin Jackson (vice president) of CygNet Software, San Luis Obispo; Tania D. Arnold (secretary) of the San Luis Obispo Regional Transit Authority; and Terri S. Harris (treasurer) of Lapp, Fatch, Myers & Gallagher, Santa Maria.
