Sales Associate
We are one of the largest accounting education foundations in the country and are seeking an experienced sales/program associate that would be responsible for sales, managing existing accounts, as well as creating new business in California and the west coast. Important will be understanding customer needs, identifying the decision makers and establishing a mutually beneficial relationship that will generate repeat business. This individual will implement effective sales strategies for on-site education, generate sales proposals and respond to RFPs, make sales presentations and close sales. Essential duties & responsibilities:
- Responsible for meeting individual revenue goals as stated in the budget.
- Develops professional relationship with firm administrators and CPE directors to maximize sales revenue and provide value-added sales.
- Assists in developing annual budget and monitoring revenue and expenses.
- Assists in developing annual on-site education plan.
- Monitors follow up necessary for sales made.
- Ensures that changes to firm or company data is updated in database.
- Monitors trends and identifies new opportunities.
- Liaison with 3rd party vendors relative to partnerships.
- Makes presentations to prospective clients.
- Researches competition.
Compensation: Base + commission commensurate with experience. Experience: Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Travel: To accounting firms and large employers mostly in California.
